In need of a maintenance technician for apartment complex and town homes that can start as soon as possible. Experience is helpful, but we will train the right person. Job duties include, but not limited to,

Unit turns (this is huge portion of the job, but NOT the only thing)

painting (interior)

pick up grounds every morning

Clean out parking lot drains and gutters when needed

take dumpsters to compactor and empty them (this job is alternated with other maintenance techs)

garbage disposal replacement

appliance diagnose and repair

unclogging sink and toilet drains

cutting doors

re screening screens

replacing blinds

Replace exterior light bulbs

pressure washing, snow removal, leaf cleanup (as needed)

Replace hot water tanks and supply lines

Must be friendly, follow written and verbal directions, be able to work as a team, be honest, good communicator, and eager to learn. Being able to work as a team is EXTREMELY important. After 30 days will given the after hours phone for 1 week at a time ( will be shared with other maintenance techs). Position requires driving to Ferndale occasionally for maintenance at property located there, mileage is paid. Must be able to pass background check and have some experience. A personal phone and vehicle is necessary. Position is 8:00 - 4:30 Monday - Friday with some overtime when on call. Medical, vision, dental will be offered. Please DO NOT call office.'
